Why We Started This
Back in 2019, we noticed something. Runners over 40 weren't getting the right resources. They're fit. They're motivated. But they felt invisible in the running world.
The Gap We Found
Most running programs target either beginners or elite athletes. Nobody was building for the 40-60 crowd — runners who've got life experience, limited time, and specific body needs. We saw the opportunity and decided to fill it.
What We Do Different
froxminster.org LLC doesn't just schedule runs. We're building community. Our couch-to-5K programs respect your starting point. Our half-marathon clubs combine training with real friendship. Parkrun meetups give you low-pressure competition. And our trainer-led interval sessions? They're designed for bodies that know what recovery means.
Growing Together
Today we've got thousands of members across the US. But we haven't changed the core. We're still here because we believe running at 45 looks different than running at 25 — and that's not a limitation, it's actually an advantage.
